Improve Your Swing

Interested in consistently hitting the ball harder? Would you like to increase your bat speed and quickness? How can you maximize your physical swing potential? Why do you want to hit the ball off the ground?

Book Now
A baseball player in a red jersey and white pants with black piping running on a baseball field, holding a bat, with a blue helmet, as dust rises from the ground.

The physical techniques of the swing are few, but the style techniques are many. These two are confused every day.

Science says the body works best when fired in a certain order; this is an irrefutable fact, not an opinion. Put the many different hitting theories aside and go with the proven facts. The mechanics of the best hitters can be learned over time by any age group, and the sooner, the better.

If these ideas, along with pitch recognition, strike zone management, the two-strike approach, and many more hitting issues, interest you, please get in touch with me today.

Coaching Experience

I have 40+ years of coaching experience, dealing with hitting ideas from Charley Lau, Walt Hriniak, and Ted Williams to science-backed lower-half-driven sequential swings, as demonstrated by the best hitters in the game past and present, as documented by Biokinetics R&D. I have coached at levels from American Legion to MLB and currently work daily with little leaguers and softball hitters.

Build a science-backed swing used by the best hitters in the game, past and present.

We feel that anyone serious and persistent can acquire the same mechanics as the top performers in the game. Having a good swing and being a good hitter are two different animals. Part of the lesson structure deals with pitch recognition, selection, the mental game, and countless other parts that make a successful hitter.

A young man in a black t-shirt and shorts, wearing a red batting helmet, is preparing to bat during practice at a baseball stadium, with a baseball field and empty stands in the background.

Sessions begin and end with a video review comparison as well as the possibility of several video checks throughout.

We work through opinion vs fact to illustrate and train what really is done. Analytics has become a big part of the hitting game, with technology surfacing to measure bat speed, bat path, swing quickness, launch angle, exit velocity, and other metrics, making many hitters and coaches more aware than ever of the importance of these numbers in a hitter’s development. We use all the above numbers and also rely on high-velocity training to prepare our hitters for success against the best around.
